- Polynomial Function - —A function containing terms with only real-number coefficients and whole-number exponents
- Domain -The set of all input values of a function (the x-values)

- Median (of a triangle) - A segment that joins a vertex of the triangle and the midpoint of the opposite side.
- Median (of a trapezoid) - A segment joining the midpoints of the legs of a trapezoid.
